Q: Can I plug the KVM-GO HDMI directly into the rear HDMI port of a Mac mini? Will it block the Ethernet or adjacent Thunderbolt/USB-C ports?
A: Yes, it fits!
We tested this with a Mac mini to make sure.
With the KVM-GO HDMI plugged directly into the Mac mini’s HDMI port, we were still able to:

Plug an Ethernet cable into the adjacent LAN port

Plug a USB-C cable into the adjacent Thunderbolt port
Everything fits at the same time, and the KVM-GO HDMI does not block either of the neighboring ports.
So for this setup, you shouldn’t need an HDMI extension dongle or adapter just for port clearance.
